The other day I was organizing some old social media accounts and realized how quickly online networks can change without us noticing, people follow new accounts, reconnect with old friends, or start interacting with completely different communities over time, that made me curious about whether there are reliable ways to keep track of recent connection activity without manually checking profiles all the time, I’m not looking to invade anyone’s privacy, but I do find it interesting how much our online circles evolve from month to month, are there tools, methods, or features that help users understand recent following activity and changes in social connections more easily?

While waiting for a train, I started reorganizing the accounts I follow and removed dozens of profiles that no longer interested me, a week later I wanted to revisit a photographer whose work had inspired a project idea, but I couldn’t remember the username at all, digging through notifications and old interactions became surprisingly frustrating, that’s when I stumbled recently-followed in the middle of my search, It helped me understand better ways to keep track of recent account activity, and it saved me from losing a genuinely useful source of inspiration.
