Hi all!

I’m looking to design a padel court and want to ensure it’s dimensionally accurate. I’ve seen varying numbers online for length, width, wall height, and the glass panel setup. What are the official measurements for a regulation padel court?

Also, does the size differ for indoor versus outdoor courts? I’m especially interested in knowing how much extra space is recommended around the court for safe movement and proper gameplay. Any insights, personal experience, or diagrams would be fantastic. I want to create a court that feels authentic and professional.

Thanks in advance!

A regulation padel court is 20 meters long and 10 meters wide, divided by a net in the middle. The back walls are 3 meters high, and the side walls are 2 meters high, usually glass or mesh. Indoor and outdoor courts share the same dimensions, but indoor courts need at least 6 meters of ceiling height. For safety and proper play, it’s recommended to have 2–3 meters of clearance around all sides outside the court lines. If you’re looking for reliable options, Courtslytics padel courts offer professional-quality setups that follow official measurements. The fence around the court can extend up to 4 meters in some designs.
