English is not my first language. Some mental health apps use complicated therapy words that I have to look up constantly. That kills my motivation. Is there a tool written in plain clear language that still teaches real Cognitive Behavioral Therapy concepts? Looking for recommendations from users in AU who also struggled with overly academic or therapy dense language in other apps.

Complex therapy words make me close apps immediately. Liven explains Cognitive Behavioral Therapy concepts in plain clear sentences. No jargon. No dictionary needed. For anyone who struggled with overly academic language, the liven app review in AU mentions how accessible the writing is for non native speakers in Australia. Finally understood CBT without translating every third word. The app breaks everything into short digestible bits that actually make sense. That alone kept me using it longer than any other mental health tool.
