I’ve been researching bathroom upgrades recently and noticed that smart vanity mirrors are becoming a huge trend in modern bathrooms.

Instead of traditional mirrors with separate lighting fixtures, these mirrors combine multiple features in one unit, including:

  • Integrated LED lighting

  • Adjustable brightness and color temperature

  • Touch sensor controls

  • Built-in anti-fog technology

  • Optional storage cabinets behind the mirror

The LED lighting also provides clearer visibility for grooming tasks like shaving or applying makeup, and it consumes less energy than traditional bulbs. Many LED mirrors are designed to last around 50,000 hours, which makes them a long-term investment.

Another interesting feature is the adjustable lighting modes. You can switch between warm and cool lighting depending on whether you're relaxing in the evening or getting ready in the morning.

From a design perspective, these mirrors also add a modern, minimalist look to the bathroom with backlit edges and frameless designs.

I'm curious to hear from others:

  • Have you installed a smart vanity mirror in your bathroom?

  • Which features matter most to you — lighting, anti-fog, or storage?

  • Do you think they’re worth the upgrade compared to traditional mirrors?

Would love to hear real experiences or recommendations.
