Hey everyone,

I’ve been hearing a lot about Reiki massage lately and I’m curious to know if anyone here has tried it. From what I understand, it’s a mix of gentle touch and energy healing that’s supposed to help with relaxation, emotional balance, and even physical pain.

I deal with a lot of stress from work, and regular massage helps, but I’m wondering if Reiki offers something different. Did you feel any noticeable benefits after a session? Was it more mental, physical, or spiritual for you?

Any tips before booking my first appointment? Thanks!

Hello.

I’ve tried Reiki massage a few times, and it definitely feels different from a regular massage. The touch is usually very light, sometimes even just hands hovering above you, so don’t expect the muscle kneading you’d get from a standard session. When I went for Reiki Midtown NYC, the main benefit I noticed was mental and emotional.

I felt deeply relaxed, almost like a meditative state, and it seemed to help release a lot of built up stress. Some people report physical relief too, but that can vary.

My tip: go in with an open mind and treat it as a complementary experience rather than a replacement for traditional massage.
