Thinking about spending a few days riding through New England, hitting up spots like Providence, Salem, and some other historic towns. A motorcycle makes more sense than a car for the old town centers, easier to navigate the tight streets and you don't spend half your day hunting for parking, especially in Boston. Only issue is I don't have my own bike so I'd need to rent one. Anyone know good places that rent motorcycles for this kind of trip?

New England's got some brilliant coastal roads between those towns, Route 1A is scenic as hell. Rental places will ask for your license and a deposit upfront, most want to see you've actually ridden before too. Search for motorcycle rentals in Boston or Providence, there's local shops that do daily and weekly rates. Compare a few before booking, insurance and mileage limits are different everywhere.

Those old New England towns have seriously tight streets, a bike's definitely the smart choice for navigating them. You'll spot stuff tucked away in alleys and side streets that cars can't even reach. There's peer-to-peer platforms now where you rent bikes straight from owners, not rental companies. Cheaper usually and the bikes are actually maintained since it's someone's personal ride. You can rent a motorcycle here https://getrentacar.com/en-US/motorcycle-rental . Browse what's listed near Boston or Providence, message owners about dates, meet up and ride.
