What do you primarily use to secure cargo on the bed of your truck?

What do you primarily use to secure cargo on the bed of your truck? I'm particularly interested in transporting oversized loads such as steel pipes, beams, and sheet metal.

I would recommend looking at straps for flatbed trucks. They are usually made of strong polyester webbing and come in different lengths (e.g. 20-30 feet) and Working Load Limits   that are selected based on the weight of the cargo. They hold the cargo in place pretty well.
