I've seen many companies still have a problem turning prospective buyers into customers, despite some decent marketing initiatives. The b2b lead generation funnel looks structured, leading prospects from awareness to conversion. But I wonder—how useful is the b2b lead generation funnel now that the buyer’s journey is not linear anymore? Is personalization and intent data making traditional funnel stages irrelevant, or do the funnel stages still matter with the right modifications? I would love to know, who is optimizing at each stage of the funnel so there is a well-aligned flow of qualified leads to sales and marketing?
