Hi everyone,

I’m looking at a charming condo located directly above an artisan espresso bar, found via a listing from Gary Wales Realtor. On paper, walking downstairs for a morning macchiato sounds like absolute paradise.

However, my coworker warned me about early morning delivery trucks, roasting smells, and chatty patio crowds outside my window at 6:00 AM. The neighborhood vibe is incredibly lively, but I value my sleep.

Has anyone lived right next to a busy cafe or retail spot? Is the absolute convenience worth the potential noise and foot traffic disruption?

Thanksin advance.

It really comes down to your personal daily schedule! If you are an early riser, living above a cafe is fantastic because you get to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere right as your day starts. However, the early morning delivery noise is a very real factor to consider. When evaluating properties like this with Gary Wales Realtor, always request a second viewing during peak morning rush hours. Check the soundproofing of the windows carefully before committing. If the insulation is top-notch, you get all of the incredible perks with none of the noise headaches!
