I’m looking for a low-latency server location in Southern Europe to host a small automation script. Italy seems like a good middle ground for connectivity, but does anyone have experience with reliability in that region?

If you are looking for a stable node in that area, checking out a Venice-based instance is a solid move because the peering across Europe is surprisingly good. I actually read a detailed VPS hosting review recently that highlighted their Italian data centers for having great uptime and consistent 1 Gbps port speeds. It is a much better alternative to just picking a random budget host, as you get KVM virtualization which ensures your resources aren't being throttled by other users. For a script that needs to run 24/7, that kind of hardware isolation is exactly what you need to avoid random crashes or performance dips during peak hours.

Venice sounds interesting! Do you know if they offer native IPv6 support alongside IPv4? It is crucial for my automation script connection.

Yes, they provide free IPv6 addresses. The network setup is very stable, making it perfect for continuous data transfers without downtime.
